We purchase our rice water in bulk from our representatives living in the Long Hair Village.
Our rice
water is purchased at a fair price that complies with local standards. In
addition to this, the Yao Women are paid for any promotional activity
including, pictures, videos, and of course, their time.
Our founder is Chinese and the majority of our team members are Chinese.
Using shampoo and conditioner bars are pretty the same as using liquid shampoo and conditioner.
1. Wet your hair with warm water.
2. Wet the shampoo bar and lather it in your hand.
3. Massage it into your hair and scalp for 2 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly. Do the same with the conditioner bar. Just like liquid conditioner, the conditioner bar doesn't lather, just gently rub the bar until it creates some cream, then apply the cream on your hair.

Every 2 days if your hair is on the oily side.
2-3 times a week for normal hair.

5 days for dry hair.
Around 40 washes, depending on how often you wash your hair and how you take care of your bars.
You can store your bars in a soap dish or inside foaming nets. Make sure the foaming nets are clean
and dry.
Never let it sit in a puddle of
water or in a damp place.

so we never test on animals and we make sure our ingredients are suitable for

We do not use any of these chemicals.
We do not use any synthetic fragrance in our
bars.
Our bars are not saponified and their pH is 6.

We offer delivery to major countries such as the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and countries within the European Union or Schengen area. The international shipping fee is £5.95, free shipping is provided for orders over £30.
To be eligible for our returns & exchanges policy, products must have been purchased from yaosecret.com and you must provide a valid proof of purchase. Returning the products is your job and bars must be sent back at 75% or more of their original weight.
Once they've arrived at our returns warehouse, our team will take over and your return/exchange request will be processed within 2 business days.
We kindly inform you that all shipping costs for returning and exchanging items, including fees and taxes, are at your own expense.
We never resell returned bars due to health and safety measures.
For our customers in the European Union, UK, US, Canada, and Australia, no tax fee needs to be paid before receiving your package.
For other locations, the customer is responsible for any customs charges if applicable.
